ESD Safe Antistatic Film Overview


ESD Safe Antistatic Film for Circuit Boards is a transparent, static-dissipative film (thickness: 25–100μm) designed to protect PCBs and electronic components during manufacturing, testing, and storage. Coated with a permanent anti-static layer (graphene-infused acrylic, 1–3μm thickness), it prevents charge accumulation while allowing visual inspection. This film is widely used in PCB fabrication, semiconductor handling, and electronics assembly, with a 70% adoption rate in LCD and PCB inspection stations.

Characteristics Static Dissipation


Surface resistivity of 10⁶–10⁸ ohms (per STM11.11) ensures rapid charge neutralization, with electrostatic decay time <0.05 seconds (from 1000V to 100V).

Volume resistivity <10⁷ ohms-cm provides 3D electrostatic control, suitable for wrapping irregularly shaped components.


Optical Clarity


88% light transmittance (400–700 nm wavelength) allows clear visibility of components, with haze <2% for precise visual inspection of solder joints and traces.

UV stabilization options reduce yellowing, maintaining clarity for >12 months under indoor lighting.


Environmental Resistance


Resists solvents (isopropyl alcohol, ethanol), oils, and weak acids, with no visible degradation after 500 cycles of cleaning.

Short-term temperature resistance up to 120°C (30 minutes) and long-term stability at 60°C, suitable for reflow oven proximity applications.


Easy Application


Pressure-sensitive adhesive (acrylic-based) ensures secure adhesion to surfaces (peel strength: 0.3–0.5 N/cm) without residue, even after 6 months of application.

Available in rolls (width: 300–1000mm, length: 50–500m) or pre-cut sheets for manual or automated application.
